Sadly some girls are born uglier than others, and sadly they have to make something about it, so they will not be discriminated.
Modesty aside, I'd be one of the pretty girls who are pretty even without makeup and fancy clothes, but I do feel sorry for the other girls who have to work so hard to look good just because they don't have enough self steem and the society and even their family can be too hard and cruel on them.
When I read this I thought you were talking about inner beauty, may be cliche, but still true, that's what really matters after all.
When I was 7 years old I was taking a walk with my uncle and we passed by a beauty salon, he said to me that all the girls in there were ugly and he didn't like any of them, I looked in and saw very beautiful women, women that even without getting fixed would look great, so I was confused and he explained to me that they were all still ugly to him because they had to rely in their appearances so they would have some worth.
I gave it a lot of thought as I grew up until I finally understood. And I'm sure that if he didn't say that to me before he passed away I would be a completely different person.
Sorry for the super long comment. XD
I had to get it off my system. Give it a thought or ignore it. As you wish. :3
and I understand exactly what you mean. I don't think its different point of views, since when I thought of it, it really encompassed everything from inside and out. I think when you love someone, when you really love someone, you love them as a whole not just appearance. Hence, The Pretty Law!
Thanks for sharing! Very appreciate you opening to the world such a personal moment with your uncle
Thank you!
