School Project: Movie Poster

This is my last set of uploads for the school year.

This was for my Image Manipulation aka Photoshop course. It was a final project along with a DVD and newspaper Ad.

The objective was to create an interesting poster designed entirely in Photoshop using paths, alpha channels etc.

I personally like the way this poster cameout compared to the DVD but my professor had a different opinion.

The name "Rummy" came from that photo you see there. I scanned it and I couldnt find much else that would go with it, so I conjured up a story based on a character I created called Jim Rummy (instead of "Gin Rummy" the card game) Originally, the tag was, "Someones' out to get Jim." Then I changed it.

I chose "Hitman's" Timothy Olyphant as the main character and since it was MY movie, I chose the following actors to star in it:

Starring: Megan Fox, Matt Damon, Sylvester Stallone [Go RAMBO!], Al Pacino, Uma Thurman,

With: Orlando Bloom, Nathalie Kelley, Eva Mendez, Edward Norton, Jason Statham.
