McCain Hero Poster - Alt by angelaacevedo McCain Hero Poster - Alt by angelaacevedo
You can read all about this piece at my original submission at this [link]

Go on and read about it.

About this piece:

Made with the original colours of the "Obama Hope" Poster by Shepard Fairey from ObeyGiant . com

Tools: Adobe Illustrator
Color Palette: [link]
Orig Photo: [link]
Size: 24" x 36"

Like I said on my other submission, this was a tough thing style to duplicate. Fairey's style of design is so smooth, clean and beautifully executed that I had a tough time duplicating it as you can probably already tell!

Go to my other one and read on.

Nobama! Obama's campaign was a joke and mainly just for people who keep up with the latest "trends".

I'd take McCain for president over him. He is definitely a classy guy and an American hero.

I won't comment on the political angle, but I think this is an awesome image and that you did an excellent job replicating the style of the original poster. :)

I am not commenting on this in support of the candidate...I too am an independent and I choose not to discuss politics here....however....

I JUST MADE ONE OF THESE THE OTHER NIGHT of my friends face...but I do not love it enough to post it. I want to redo it, clean it up some before I upload it...but he loved it...

I just thought it was a coincidence that you did this and I just got done doing one on Friday...

Tis all.

Toodles.

When you bring politics into art it just ruins the mood. He is depicting the person him self not his campaign or what he is running for. How ever I will not dismiss that this is a very well proportioned piece. Excellent work. The line work is great too.

THANK YOU FOR THIS CREATION! :thanks:

This is truth no matter what way you look at it. While you may or may not be voting for McCain its important that his credentials be taken into consideration.

There is a lack of art for McCain, and it is a shame.

Obama is inspiring and his campaign is wonderful, his website is designed top notch and he has that great smile... BUT I'M NOT SOLD.

Keep this in mind VOTERS; so many of you are following hype, following a man's "dreams of hope" and not taking the time to understand his policies. Your going into this election brainwashed by Obamas campaign tactics, hopeful messages clouding the realities his policies will enforce, and denying yourself the opportunity to use YOUR BRAIN to draw your own CONCLUSIONS!

To you I ask: If you were tested on Obamas policies in order for you vote to count could you accurately answer?

I fear many votes would be dismissed.

:flagus:There is still time to LEARN and to make a decision based on FACT. Please I urge you to read, to watch the debates, to get different opinions, and to think freely for yourself.
